About the UPWP

Annually, as required by state and federal regulations, a Unified Palnning Work Program (UPWP) and budget are prepared for the Brevard Urbanized Area.  The UPWP details the work tasks to be undertaken during the year for the urban area transportation planning process.  Each task contains a description of the objective, previous work accomplished, work methodology, responsible agency, and funding sources.  The UPWP is developed each year and operates under the state fiscal year of July 1 to June 30.

Current Fiscal Year (FY 2007)

The MPO is currently operating under the FY 2007 UPWP, which can be downloaded below. The MPO approved the FY 2007 UPWP on May 11, 2006. The UPWP contains the operating budget and task descriptions for work to be completed by the MPO between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007. For previous UPWP's, visit the Archives page.

Upcoming Fiscal Year (FY 2008)

The FY 2008 UPWP contains the operating budget and task descriptions for work to be completed by the MPO between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008. Public comments are currently being reviewed for presentation to the MPO. The Final FY 2008 UPWP was adopted by the MPO at their May 10, 2007 meeting.
